Jhared was a Duergar trader, and his Trading Post was a major landmark in the early Underdark. In time, Duergar clans built it up to be a power in its own right, briefly rivaling Udos Dro'xun and Urblexis Grond in might. While those two settlements were swept away by the Deluge of the early 90s AR, Jhared's found its Upperdark promontory ideally situated to take advantage of the flooded caverns, and so became the site for the City of Andunor, though Jhared's disappearance after remains a mystery.
