House Sanna is said to be an ancient empire, dating back to the times before the fall of the Netherese. The House is known (along with 4 others) to have been responsible for some of the most foul acts committed during the empire's fall. This includes a rumoured partnership with 'Phaerrim' a race of Mind-flayer like creatures who control powerful arcane magics. The Phaerrim are known to conduct magical experiments on human subjects.

At this time, it appears that house Sanna is seeking to recover several artifacts of power by any means. It is rumoured they have been using slaves to perform an excavation on a small island nearby, and have been responsible for numerous attacks on passing ships. By the account of a man found injured in the Elven crypts after a recent raid, they have stolen a crystal sword of unknown nature. Please see Lord of Myon for additional information. The man, interviewed by the Arch-Druidess Kayallan identified himself as a member of the Redshield, a group which is in bitter conflict with House Sanna.

A greater understanding of this situtation may be gained by determining the nature of the Crystal Sword. The High Court of Myon should hold records as to the burial plots, this may illuminate whose tomb was robbed and provide a lead to the nature of the artifact taken. It is said that those of Myth Drannor have had some measure of success in dealing with other Houses of the Netherese. The Amnish Embassy may be able to request information. The nature of arrival and manner of presentation suggests they will attempt to manipulate when possible. Mind shielding magics for officials is recommended.
