As many of us were born and raised in bigfolk cities, and are unfamiliar with the rites of our people, I thought I'd write some information about Safeday for those who don't know about it.

Safeday is the holy day of Yondalla, and is marked weekly, on the fifth, fifteenth and twenty fifth of each month. Traditionally, families will spend the mornings preparing for a feast, relaxing and putting their feet up. After lunch, members of the community meet up and walk around the settlement, a symbol of Yondalla's protection of us all. When the walk is over, everyone brings out the food they prepared earlier, and finish the day with a feast of celebration, Yondalla's provision incarnate.

Visitors and guests are welcome at Safeday feasts, and may even contribute stories of their own, or take part in the friendly contests that are usual at such events. May I encourage you all to mark Safeday, if you are in Bendir for it, even if only in a small way. I will try and keep food in the shrine for those who do not have a home of your own to cook in.
