The Spire's Reprise

From the tragedy of Umbrick few did rise, escaping the cruelty of Duergar wrath.
Whilst others mourned and dried their eyes, the Sonnlinor's boy trailed an icy path.

Far down the mountain where the cold did sting, the Sonnlinor's son sensed a new land and new walls.
The Dwarf we would come to call our King, carved from the rock our Golden Halls.

With wit and wisdom he formed a bond, the Earthkin Alliance his greatest pride.
These ties he formed last well beyond, the century which followed the day he died.

Yet still he felt the bitter loss, Umbrick's crown remained in Halls below.
But his mission a line nae King could cross, so a new one crowned and alone he did go.

Marched himself, and his axe, into the throe.
Alone our former King did go.

The mystery that surrounded the final fate, of the Sonnlinor's boy and how deep he marched.
Kin broke his forbidding a century too late, and when found, was found in despondent state.

The Dominion armies swept Umbrick's floor, and avenged their King, a bittersweet test.
The Sonnlinor's boy who could march nae more, was marched by Kin to his final rest.
