Report: Cordorian Elections

Elections were held early in Cordor. Banites and all Banite sympathizers were banished as the last decree of Councilor Ayin Mesmer, shortly before Mesmer resigned from his Councilor position officially. Candidates include Naethandriel, Thalon Kallick, and Gabriel Shields.

Violence occured in the weeks to follow. One Aran La'Mantea, a Banite agent, attempted to assassinate Naethandriel on the streets, leaving him badly injured. Just days later, that same assassin attempted to lure me intoa trap in the city sewers.Very recently, a man lured a large crowd into the streets of Cordor with the offer of free wares, then summoned a fiendish Vrok and proceeded to attack all in sight. I helped to defeat him, with great difficulty.

The elections are now over. Ayin Mesmer has honored his pledge not to run for another term. The three new Councilors are Roznik Naethandriel, Thalon Kallick, and Gabriel Sebastian Shields III.

Roznik Naethandriel is an elven devotee of Hoar, with the backing and support of Lord Trintiren of Myon. He is also the owner of the Nomad inn and tavern. Thalon Kallick is a mage of the Arcane Tower, an associate of both Archmage Aerlias and Archmage Mesmer.

I know little of Gabriel Sebastian Shields III, other than that he is a male human who garnished enough votes by campaigning vigorously in the streets just prior to the final count.
