Ghestaldt Blimth, Thane of Brogendenstein, arrived on the Arelithian archipelago in Ches of 119, from the nothern Samman stronghold of Citadel Adbar on continental Faerun. Ghestaldt sought to grow the order of Gorm Gulthyn (the ever vigilant). Soon after his arrival, he was informed by Thane Glanak of clan Ironhelm that the Dwarven ruler was being hunted by assassins.

Thane Glanak was attack on 28 Mirtol 119. Ghestaldt was the first to find the wounded Dwarven ruler and tried to heal him of his wounds, but they were beyond the healing of any Dwarf. The assassins had succeeded in their task. The final words of Thane Glanak to then Sentinel Ghestaldt were "Fuma'Vhid" - the name of his Dhaerrow assailants.

And so Thane Glanak of clan Ironhelm passed into memory and song on 1 Kythorn 119. He is remember for the well-deserved respect he earned among Samman of the Halls and outsider settlements alike, during his rule from 112 to 119 AR. He is remembered for his greatness and sure leadership of Brogendenstein.
