The Cordorian Chronicles - Stolen Away

When someone is abducted, no matter the occasion, it is tragic. Everyone fears the prospect of being kidnapped, taken away to a strange place, and having horrible things happen to them. It is a nightmare that everyone wishes will not happen to them. This is the story of a woman who went through this nightmare, and became stronger, and better for it.

Tria was a victim of this nightmare, living it every moment. She had been around the Cordorian Mines to the East, where the kobolds live, and adventurers are abundant. According to Tria, "Godo likes to sneak around there... And captures people. He knocked me out when I tried to resist." Tria had been adventuring about the Mines, and had spotted a white stag, before encountering the goblin.

According to Tria, the goblin had killed the poor creature right away, with no provocation. "Yes, haha.. With his arms, he is a strong one, that goblin." Tria said. This may be because the goblin is--or was--a lycanthrope, as said witnesses.

The goblin had accordingly attacked them, infecting the citizen of Cordor with the lycanthrope virus, making the individual have to go on a quest to be cured--which, thankfully, they were. Tria had been abducted by the goblin, her hands tied, and chained to him. "..When he took me along, we ran into quite a lot of adventurers. So when you are captured, you can try to ask for help, if you're conscious."

But he might knock you out so that won't always work." When asked how she recommended avoiding the situation, she said, "Best bet is to run from him when you see him... Unless you know for a fact you can hurt him enough. He seems cowardly. Runs at first danger. And travel in groups--he likes to attack singular people, adventurers who are alone."

When Tria had been secured in the Underdark by Godo's mistress, she was treated horribly. She had some freedom, but was forever scared, and in despair--not to mention, they mocked her for being a dwarf, calling her fat. She was whipped, and given a collar, spelled so that one day away from the caves would suck away her life force.

But that isn't the worst part. Tria escaped the clutches of the drow, but, having lost her things to the drow, and wanting them back for the journey home, not even knowing if she would survive the trip without her things. She went back to the drow, and was recaptured by the dark elves, having a ceremony, and slitting the lady dwarf's throat in a sacrifice to Lolth, giving the dwarf's body up to the Spider goddess. The only thing that saved Tria was divine grace, her goddess raising her back. "People need to understand how important it is to get away." Tria said. So remember, dear readers--there is danger, out there.
