The Beginning of the great plagues was situated in Cordor, and quickly spread throughout the population in a few short hours. It was several days before the cause was found, in which thousands had died from the virulent pox, started by a Talonist group working within the lizard mound in the jungles.

The plague was quickly stopped By the Ilmatarian Priest, Dredi Harren, though the leader of the group remained at large. Thus started the Second Plague.

Dredi Harren, the one who slew the Talonists and their desecrated alter within the mound, was the first to contract the illness and it spread within a few days to many other members of the keep.

The entire Keep was placed under a thick, unwavering quarantine and though there were several reports of people breaking it, nothing was to come of it.

It was a long time before Dredi was to leave the keep again, the source of the plague was yet to be identified and any divine means to cure the plague failed entirely.

After a long period of recovery, the Priest disappeared from the Keep and from the isle for a ten-day. An Artifact The 'Satchel of St.Beldarr' was called for, and given a short prayer over it, the cure appeared and with another lengthy trip back to the Keep, the end was called to the second plague.

Throughout all this, the Leader was caught many times yet for reasons unknown, never put to death for her crimes.
