As long as the lives of elves, is this story about Trintiren Elraiendel. I will tell you the first part of it.

Heralding from Evermeet, Trintiren Elraiendel holds a long history on island through duty, politics, and a long history involving Myon, the floating city of the elves, hidden deep in the Arelith Forest. His story begins in Cordor, where he left with his childhood friend. Together, they attempted to march to Myon to better help the elves there. Along the journey, his companion fell to his death. After mourning the loss, he swore since to do the duties of his friend as well as his own.

Within Myon, he had a great deal of work brought to his feet. He was quickly given the duty of the Lord's personal guard, a job that was extremely difficult due to the current war with the forces of Stonehold, led by Dreadmaster Lothar the Steelsworn. In duty, he faced capture many times, falling to defend Lord Forlindel. During these short prison exchanges, he and the Lord were often released, leaving the moral strength of the elves at a great low.

Despite these difficult times, Trintiren still worked, commonly at the Lord's side when he was outside the city, moving to political movements to the allies of the Fair City, working in tandem with Priestess Wren Geltafer on many projects within the forest, and studying to better improve his technique and faith about Lye Astalderea, where he commonly prayed. During these prayers, he eventually encountered Grix the Blue, who attempted to persuade the Sun Elf into a daring experiment to further his skills in war, creating a temptation that these changes could better protect his city and push back the Banite forces. With morale low and desperation setting in, Trintiren agreed and the two began the Rite of Draconic Affinity, a magical ritual that was intended to awaken the supposed dragon blood in the elf.

At first the changes were minimal, offering greater strength and even better progression in his skills. Through his growing exploits, he was given the duty of leading the military in Myon, the Ara'Mundo instead of protecting the Lord. This continued for years until eventually the changes from the Rite began to grow more and more noticeable. His tough skin suddenly seemed more noticeably scaly, claws came forth from his fingers, and then finally two massive red scaled wings burst forth from his shoulder blades and his golden flaked eyes shifted to golden dragon slits... The rest of the story will be told another time.
