A story about Melkoth, warrior-priest of the Abyss, master illusionist, skilled manipulator and one of the most feared abyssals to ever walk on the island.
Melkoth's past is quite unknown. But what he has done on the island has become quite known for the people of the Arelith. As some of his deeds have been very dark indeed. Most people do not know that Melkoth actually arrived to the island in the year 37. Some witnessed that he tried to spread the dogma of Cyric in city of Cordor, until he got exiled by the local guards. In the year 43, he returned to Cordor. He met a man named Abdel Halim Hafez who offered Melkoth some guidance and teaching to use the powers of Necromancy and together they organized a cult known as 'Illumination's Dawn'. After few months of torturing people and gaining more followers to the Cult, a cult member called 'Tomar' became a Mayor in Guldorand and Melkoth was chosen as the 'Councilor' of Guldorand. The so called 'Sanctuary' of Illumination's Dawn was moved to Guldorand from Cordor.
Later however, Abdel Halim Hafez decided to return back to his homelands and he gave the leadership of the cult to Melkoth and some very difficult tasks and responsibilties. During his leadership of Illumination's Dawn, the secrecy of the cult was leaking because of some unwanted attention of the 'Sanctuary' in Guldorand. The cult became known in Light Keep and it brought a lot conflict in Guldorand. Months later the 'Sanctuary' was finally revealed and destroyed by several people. Melkoth and Tomar made out from the situation safely, but many members of the cult suddenly disappeared and started hiding from public places and from the cult itself. Melkoth and Tomar were alone. The sad news was given to Abdel Halim Hafez and after that he was never seen again.
After the incidents, Melkoth was invited to join the Abyssal Forces. Daric Wenneseph, the king of Abyssal Forces was in need of more recruits to the Abyss and he heard about the actions of Melkoth in Guldorand. This made him interested of having him as the recruit of Abyss and Melkoth decided to join the Fortress. After joining the fortress and rebuilding the Sanctuary of Illumination's Dawn. Melkoth decided to seek more victims for the different experiments for the cult. To find 'worthy' ones for the experiments, Melkoth arranged a so called 'challenge' for the people who were having some difficulties in their lives. To beat the challenge, the chosen ones must defeat all magical summons Melkoth brings to life. If someone won the challenge, they can ask one wish from Melkoth to fulfill, but sooner or later, they may become subjects in many horrible events.
After capturing a woman named 'Trinical Vengal', the sanctuary of Illumination's Dawn was revealed again. This time Melkoth lost his councilor rights and was banished from Guldorand. After several conflict situations with a young halfling called 'Maar', Melkoth successfully captured Maar and took him to Abyssal Fortress. In there he did a lot of horrible experiments to the little halfling, but doing this, brought a lot of anger to the friends of Maar. Later the Abyssal Fortress were being attacked by a huge group of people who tried to rescue the halfling from Melkoth. After the huge battle, the Abyssal Fortress was overtaken, the halfling was rescued and Melkoth was defeated. Three months after his death, the survivors of Abyss released a clone of Melkoth. Who is now waiting for a new opportunity to continue his master's work.
