In order to show just how bad the corruption in Cordor is, I must explain the events I saw take place one evening. There I was roaming the streets and running errands when I see two persons exchanging words. One was obviously a town guard, and the other a man with a hook arm and many odd peircings. At the time I had no idea who they were, for it was not until later I learned their identities to be Gerard Thillins and Samu Hellseye.
My interest caught, at this oddly pierced man, the next thing I know the town guard starts slapping Samu around like a fly one the wall. As would most anyone, Samu retaliated. He turned the guard to stone to merely end the assault. Gerard was easily turned back with a mere spell, but out of hatred and anger he decides he couldn't be made a fool of and LIES to everyone and says Samu attacked him first.
The trial commenced almost immediately, everyone being summoned if they saw something. Upon arrival the courthouse was locked, with Samu Hellseye and 5-6 witnesses on his behalf all outside, not actually inside the building. He was then convicted and exiled immediately for his "crime".
Is this the city we now live in?!
