The Art and Ways of the Lich, by Ja'laxe'a Jux'la

The darkest practice of the Arcane is the pursuit of everlasting life through the path of the dead. Liches once were power-hungry arcanist that sought after immortality by fusing their body and soul into the deepest roots of the Arcane practice, Necromancy. The life lusting mage, through countless rituals and sacrifices realizes that only true sacrifice into the life of the Lich is the sacrifice of his own soul. So his deathless journey begins....

Several changes happen to the Lich's body but mostly the change happens within. Their skin and eyes become lifeless as their soul is ripped from their body leaving a dark void. At that time their lust for life continues to grow causing them to seek after other souls to destroy and to feed into his own. At which they grow in strength an power. The knowledge of my writings comes from a journey to the upper caves and an account from my perspective. Destroying the Lich's vessel is the only way to be victorious over the powerful creature.
