Report on Cordor Council Election

Herial Ghalen: His insertion into Wharf town, disposing Ayin Mesmer from leadership in the process some years ago, proves he is a capable and decisive leader. He strikes me as somewhat cold and dominating. He serves Nobanian, the lord of the beasts. He seems to have a passion for the fate of Cordor and has listed goals for the city, should he win:

1. Bolster the economy via trade with other settlements, lower taxes, and increased pay for recourses, cutting inactive businesses and encouraging new job positions.

2. To give the Cordor guard volunteer section a payroll, make them efficient through proper ranking and organization tactics as outlined by previous commander, Gale Mundt.

3. To offer grant money for civic and charitable vventures.

Gabriel Sebastian Shields III: I never met this man, but apparently he has been councillor before. He was accused of stealing from Cordor's coffers, but insists his innocence. He claims that witnesses he gathered can prove this: Hera Braidstone and Lord Trinterin. These could be nothing more than personality witnesses, not actual eye witnesses. His platform for the election is for fair law that serves everyone, regardless of social standing. In an example, he says the law should serve the honest merchant, to the humble thief. There are also allegations of fraud and treason against him that were dropped due to unknown reasons.

Thalon: "A soul stealing mage" as described by Adelina Borina, He was kicked out of the Thayan enclave for unknown reasons and no longer wears the colour red. From personal experience, he is sour, mean spirited and hubris.

Melisandre D'saphyr: A Cordorian guard and a business woman. Nothing else known of her.

Aranieluas Sorrowkeeper: She has Issues with authority and was a Cordorian guard twice in the past, but resigned both times. She resigned the first time because of the "banite takeover" and the second time because she was voted into the council and was forced to. There doesn't seem to be much information on her performance during her term as councillor though. She exhibits strange abilities and upon questioning Adelina, it was clear that Aran is not pure breed Human. Her exact heritage is unknown, but given the nature of her bizarre abilities, tainted blood must not be ruled out.
