Feste Fizzlebiscuits is the founder of the Hinvasion, badgerpope of Meles, owner of the Nomad, semi-accomplished businessman and self-proclaimed 'greatest bard in all the land'.
The first of his family to find success out of his hometown of Frizzbiffle, Feste went from being a town joke, on account of a broken home and an insane mother, to a local-legend, and when word reached his town that he had found some success on the island of Arelith, relatives of all shapes and sizes sailed west to find their 'famous' cousin. Feste is known for being almost-completely oblivious to what others may think of him, growing angry only when actions are taken that he perceives as being 'rude'. He has entertained nearly every faction on the island, from Bendir to Cordor to Light Keep, and even including Stonehold and the Underdark.
Despite a tongue too quick for his own good and a painfully short-sighted perspective, he often gains himself far more allies than friends, and inspires loyalty in unlikely places, including with the leaders of Wharftown, Soulhaven Monastery, and the Arcane Tower. In his time on the island he has been captured by Drow (to this day he still considers it a performance gone wrong), awakened a draco-lich, been the only prisoner in Stonehold's history to ever leave unscathed and 1000 gold wealthier, and kicked out of death by the gods themselves for being 'too much of a nuisance to put up with'.
Around 30 AR, he was taken captive by Drow and locked up in the Obsidian Asylum, deep in the Underdark. This action, coupled with the growing frequency of Drow raids upon the surface, spurred the forces of Light Keep, Soulhaven Monastery, The Heartwood Grove, Wharftown and Myon to unite in a massive raid against the fortress. Organized and led by Sensei Amadeo Pneuma of Soulhaven, the attack was victorious, successfully freeing Feste and several other prisoners, including Leela Silverarms and his nephew Waffletrump.
He is also the founder and most active member of the Hinvasion, the most prominent and accomplished bardic troupe on the island. With his family members and closest friends, Waffletrump and Refestus, the Hinvasion has entertained nearly everyone on the island, at one point or another, and is known by many for both their performances and their infamously large-mouths.
Despite his penchant for being a little too blunt for his own good, Feste makes friends quicker than enemies, and is known for his kindness, especially to those who society would deem 'the little guy'. A part of him has never forgotten the pain he felt in his youth for being the outcast, and he will fight to his death to defend those society unfairly discriminates.
Close friends and companions include his Nephew Waffletrump, and perhaps his best friend, his cousin Refestus. Other family members and companions include Soppi, Mushpuffle, Fester, Festivius, and Drum Fizzlebiscuits. Close Hinvasion fans and supporters include former-Wharftown Mayor Hort Choobi, Amadeo Pneuma, for reasons even he doesn't understand, Cordorian Councilors Dante, Stephen Hull, and Talior, Archmage Jacob Swift of the Arcane Tower, and a host of employees working under him at the Nomad.
In an uncharacteristically small ceremony, he wed the hin Camiril, who supplies him with hugs, kisses, and an abundance of pies. He is a proud supporter of the God Meles and is typically followed around by his 'badgerguard' Jeffrey.
While primarily based in Cordor for most of his life, during the reign of the Lich Queen Sadamara in Bendir, Feste was instrumental in setting up an Embassy in Cordor for displaced hin fleeing Sadamara's tyranny. Through his support for those opposed to Sadamara, he had a key role to play in her fall... though that is a story for another day.
