Rules for the Rangers of the Heartwood Grove

With the retirement of Herial as Ranger Protector, I am assuming the position as Lead Ranger until Lady Saretta can find another to fill this position. When our Lady does then I will humbly step aside. With that said I would like to state some simple truths about our group and rules for which we can abide by as a group, that being the Rangers of the Heartwood.First, we as Rangers of the Heartwood swear alleigance to protect this sacred grove and to abide by the strictures lain before us by the leader of this fellowship, that being Lady Saretta, Archdruidess of the heartwood.

Secondly, We swear to give aid to other members of the Grove when requested, whether druid or ranger or others. We swear to give aid to those travelling in the wilds with our skills and talents as we each determine in our hearts and conscience.Thirdly, as Rangers we are solitary by nature yet here we swear to come together for council, for fellowship, for trading, for the giving of assistance to each other if needed and to help maintain the balance of nature. No other burden is laid upon the Rangers of the Heartwood so long as I remain in this position or until lady Saretta directs otherwise.

Here I would like to state some simple truths about our group, those ideas and positions which I believe should apply to the Rangers of the Heartwood. First, we as a group will remain true to the ideas, the truths, and the philosophy of the heartwood grove.Secondly, we will remain faithful to the druids of this fellowship and their leader, giving aid to them as the need arises or is requested.. Both Druids and Rangers have a love for nature, I believe, which is unrivaled by others. As such we will work together with the druids as both friends and brothers and sisters of the Heartwood.

Thirdly, being solitary by our very nature, loving the solitude of the wilds, I do not believe this group should have a centralized military structure as is common among the others which reside in the stone cities. We come together when the need arises, calling upon each other for aid, council, and fellowship. We can meet here or in the Dreaming Tree. Both are sacred to us.Fourthly, we as a group should and will meet at least once a quarter on a date agreeded to by a majority. We will pass messages along to each other when we see our brethren in our travels, we will give assistance to each other by informing others of our experiences in our travels. I hope these will be accepted by those in our group.
