In the month of Tarsakh, year 128, the newly-minted Coalition of Settlements sought to strike against the evil of the Underdark. A great host, led by Thane Ghestaldt Blimth of Brogendenstein, Coronal Vanion of Myon, and Captain Dylo Titanstomper of the Dale, led a raid on the Underdark city of Andunor.

The initial attack went well, with many Drow and demons falling before the combined might of the allied forces. But during the withdrawal the lack of organisation of the Coalition forces was brutally exposed.

Enemy reinforcements hit the rearguard of the retreating forces in the sewers by Devil's Table, overwhelming them and turning an orderly withdrawal into a rout. Tragically, in the battle Ghestaldt and Vanion were taken prisoner by the enemy, along with the woman Sharwyn. Queen Fini of Brogendenstein escaped narrowly, later leading the effort to secure the release of her husband and the other prisoners.

Buoyed by their success, the forces of the Underdark then struck at Guldorand and Wharftown, and razed a farm in the Dale, before being halted at the walls of the fort. Turned back by the Bendirian defenses, they retreated back to the Underdark, doubtless to plot their next move.
