The Cordorian Chronicle - The News of the Week

The trial of Mr. Amand Imythesen and Ms. Tyco Tyrranus ended with the court finding them not guilty of treason. The charges were dropped by Commander Mundt as she overturned her prior decision before the court, due to a lack of evidence to support the charges, which included:Treason, Intent to Overthrow the Cordorian Guard, Consorting with Thayan Knights, Threatening. The second-to-last charge was further specified as consorting with unruly types who wish to overthrow Cordor, which, as with the other charges, had little to no evidence supporting it.

Unruly types were present, however, with multiple interruptions reported, including a thief and a mentally unsound fellow. After the trial, the Commander was heard to have expressing a willingness to accept the defendants back into the guard, despite calling them "bitchy".

Cmmdr. Mundt: "Laws shouldn't be blind. There's always exceptions" in reference to her commandeering of the trial from Judge Beolve, whom she did not believe understood the situation. Expect a retrial.

The magician Lord Kevak is openly recruiting for a coalition of students of the dark arts by whatever means as are available to him. The Violet Rose Mages Conclave has been placing advertisements and notices clearly in public places, including the main Cordor notice board.

They are reportedly looking for 'Rogue Mages, Necromancers, Dark Druids, Black Bards and Evil Priests' who believe they have been shunned from normal society.
