Where, exactly, Graash came from originally, is known to few. What is known is that he arrived on Arelith by way of an Amnish trade vessel well over several decades ago. Shortly after arriving on Arelith, Graash was enlisted by the paladin Valien of Torm to aid the Sons of Cordor in their struggle against what was described as a corrupt and decadent government. Graash spent perhaps six months with the Sons before becoming disillusioned with their extremist approach.
Disheartened by the viciousness of the Sons of Cordor, Graash turned to the Cordorian Government, and enlisted as a guardsman under the short-lived command of Vashart. Graash continued to serve the guard until Vahsart's discharge from the office, and then under the next Commander, Jonathan Diastole. Upon Diastole's death of old age, Graash assumed command of the guard, a position he held until a few months before the united guard was disbanded at the start of the Baronial age.
Roughly a year into the Baronial Age, Graash took stewardship of Baron Rask-Under-rivers Barony, until such a time as it was turned over to Thal Oakenheart. Graash retired to private life for several years, meddling shamelessly in such affairs as the Night War, the Third Sharran War, and many more minor conflicts. During this time, it is rumored that Graash undertook a course of action that resulted in restoring John Diastole to a second life, though details on the matter are scarce.
Graash ultimately grew dissatisfied with private life and, along with several old friends, including former Baron Rask Under-river and John Diastole, re-established a united guard force following Duke Galverson's death at the hands of Sharran fanatics. He served in this position for slightly more than a decade before retiring again. Many speculate that, given his history, it is only a matter of time before this retirement too, comes to an end. A year following his retirement, his marriage to Clarimonde Wynn was announced. The two have remained married since, and can often be seen in or around Cordor.
