There were reports at Jhared's of an implike creature, a demon, holding up in the Great Scar, using magic and attacking bypassers. Faern Bel'qualyn, my M'elzar Tarantella and I, Zaqix A'qal happened to be there and we decided to investigate it, especially since M'elzar Tarantella required a final training in her archer skills.

We went to the Great Scar and on the other side of the ravine the demon, actually a Demonoculous it seemed, was laughing at us. Faern Bel'qualyn petrified him and he went ahead of us to retrieve the statue.

M'elzar Tarantella and I were halfway the Brackish Lake when we saw the Demonuclous appear on the island in the middle of the lake. We attacked it with spells and arrows but it disappeared again. We first continued our search to the Faern.

We found him, about to be attacked by assassins from Zebey'Selds. One was petrified, the others killed. When the Faern turned him to flesh again he again almost dissolved in the shadows and we lost him. We know they were from Zebey'Selds for they carried the same darts. Those with a griffin.

We headed back for the Brackish Lake to locate the Demonuclous. He appeared at the entrance of the flooded passages, and entered. We went inside and fought through a lot of lizards, when we finally spotted the Demonuclous. Faern Bel'qualyn ran after it, only focused on destroying the demon, while especially M'elzar Tarantella with her bow, and me, with enchantment spells, tried to keep the lizards from the Faern's back and make sure they were all destroyed.

Faern Bel'qualyn succeeded in taking the Demonuclous out, we together cleared the rest of the area and left again. I saw the demon dead with my own eyes, and it carried a sweetberry with it, which I still have in my possession.
