Spider, the blessed creature

Presence of this creature requires grace of the Yath and at least inert touch of divine abilities. Even if often accompanying the blessed priestesses and others worthy of their presence, the holy spider is individual of free will and restlessness granted to them by mighty Lloth.

It is highly inappropriate for those that spend long time studying the Weave or experimenting with dangerous arcane magic to even attempt for such gracious creatures to spend longer time in their presence that might prove boring to them. Those unable to provide continuous, constant and caring attention (that these holy creatures rightfully deserve) are forbidden to form any permanent bond with them.

Hell hound

Description:

Large, powerfully build canine of typical high at the shoulder about 4 ½ feet and weight approximately 120 pounds. The short fur is typically of reddish-brown or rust-red colour with black markings. Red, glowing eyes and draconic ears dominate the appearance of its head. Crimson jaws hide sooty black tongue and similarly coloured sharp teeth. The breath varies from warm to fiery by desire of the creature.

Origins, habitation and availability

The species of Hell Hound is outsider originated from the plane often referred to as the Nine Hells of Baator. In addition to their lawful evil nature and desires predetermined by the Nine Hells' origin, Hell Hounds are known creatures of the Fire element and traits associated with such.

Their predispositions for suitable pets are well known. Many specimens were already transported to Material plane. There are numerous reports of indigenous breeding populations most likely established by survivals of weak masters. They can be encountered at any underground or even surface land in solitary, in pair or packs. Yet calming of such wild beast to loose its animosity and be suitable for ritual of binds to the Master is often waste of effort, since suitable specimens could be found from many breeders.

It is recommended to search for an adult specimen, since puppies tend to be playful and require training with constant surveillance and fireproof facilities.

Treatment

The hell hound requires strict discipline and firm handling, which can be repaid by its blind obedience in following commands desired by their Master. They are silent companions and unless tough to bark and growl, they prefer to swiftly use without any warning their breath of fire or deadly fiery bite.

They enjoy causing pain and suffering, and hunt or play accordingly. Their attitude and scent together with their agility and abilities for stealth techniques are usable for relentless tracking of desired pray.

It is recommended to provide warm place for them, since otherwise they may attempt to warm their den with a fire unsuitable to any books or parchments. They are sensitive to cold, which can prove dangerous especially to young cubs.

Additional notes

Their good understanding of Infernal speech would suggest hidden intelligence that unfortunately fails to demonstrate in any other aspect of their heated individuality.

The Hell hounds tend to invoke deserved respect from uninformed individuals, gaining them reputation of aggressive and deadly eerie canines of fire.
